The Semi Automatic Pipe Cutting Machine by National Cutting Tools is a high-speed circular cold saw engineered for clean, burr-free cut-off of steel pipes, structural tubing, and hollow sections. Cutting pipes with abrasive chop saws leaves heavy burrs, sparks, heat discoloration, and out-of-square cuts that require secondary grinding before welding or threading; this semi-automatic cold saw uses slow-speed high-speed steel (HSS) circular blades to produce cold, square, weld-ready cuts. Operating through an automated pneumatic or hydraulic cycle, the operator steps on a foot switch: the heavy dual-side clamping vise locks the pipe securely, the blade motor starts, coolant floods the cut, and the saw head feeds downward at a regulated hydraulic speed. Once the cut is complete, the saw head retracts automatically and the vise unclamps, completing the entire cycle in 10 to 20 seconds. Key Features Semi-Automatic One-Pedal Cycle: Foot pedal triggers vise clamp, saw start, regulated downfeed, blade stop, and rapid head retract. Self-Centering Dual Clamping Vise: Clamps both the main pipe and offcut piece firmly to prevent cut-off burrs and blade pinch. Low-RPM High-Torque Geared Drive: Heavy worm gearbox delivers smooth cutting torque at 40/80 RPM, preventing blade tooth chipping. Burr-Free Cold Cutting: Produces square, clean pipe cuts with zero thermal burn, eliminating secondary deburring grinding. Swiveling Saw Head for Miter Cuts: Head swivels up to 45° left and right on a graduated scale for fast, accurate angle cutting. Automatic Flood Coolant Delivery: Electric pump circulates coolant through blade nozzles, flushing chips and extending HSS blade life.
