About Bikwao
Bikwao is a B2B marketplace where Indian businesses buy and sell stock in bulk: new stock from manufacturers and wholesalers, and surplus stock such as stock lots, overstock, dead stock and export surplus. Buyers and sellers deal with each other directly. Bikwao takes no commission.
Why we built it
Most factories and traders end up with goods they cannot sell through their usual buyers: a cancelled export order, a production overrun, last season's design, or raw material left after a job. Selling it means phone calls to brokers and middlemen who take a cut. At the same time, retailers, resellers and other manufacturers look for exactly this kind of stock at a lower price.
Bikwao puts both sides on one site. The same site also works for regular wholesale trade, so a supplier can list new stock and surplus stock side by side.
How it works
- Sellers list stock with photos, quantity, minimum order, condition, city and price (or "price on request"). Each listing is marked as new stock or surplus stock.
- Buyers search by category, city or keyword, then call, WhatsApp or send an enquiry to the seller.
- Buyers post requirements when they cannot find what they need. Sellers in that category see the requirement and reply with an offer.
- The deal is between the two businesses. They agree the price, inspect the goods and arrange payment and transport themselves.
How Bikwao earns
Listing is free and a GST number is not needed to start. Bikwao earns from optional seller memberships (more listings, higher placement and access to buyer contact details) and from banner ads. Every paid plan comes with a GST invoice. We never take a percentage of a deal.
Rules we follow
- Every new listing is checked for banned items, duplicates and missing details before it goes live.
- Sellers can upload GST, Udyam, trade licence or firm PAN documents. After our team reviews them, the profile shows "Documents reviewed by Bikwao". We never ask for Aadhaar.
- Food is accepted only as sealed, packaged stock with an FSSAI licence number, batch number and manufacturing and expiry dates. These listings are hidden 7 days before expiry.
- We do not accept fresh or loose food, medicines, alcohol, tobacco, infant food, live plants or bullion.
- We do not show made-up numbers, sellers or reviews. Counts on the site come from the live database.
