Listing & Seller Policy

Operated by Mantra Tech Fusion (Proprietor: Vikrant Saini), GSTIN: 06BLSPS8961E1ZD. This policy defines seller responsibilities, mandatory catalog disclosures, and strictly prohibited commercial items under applicable Indian statutes.

4.1 Responsibility for Listing Content

As a seller on Bikwao, you are solely and fully responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of every Listing you post, including the title, lot description, product photographs, pricing, minimum order quantity (MOQ), warehouse city, and product condition (Fresh Surplus, Liquidation, Refurbished, Scrap).

You must own the item, hold the legal right to sell it, or be duly authorised in writing to liquidate it on behalf of the factory owner or mill.

4.2 Strictly Prohibited & Restricted ItemsZero Tolerance Policy

The following categories of items and content may NOT be listed on Bikwao under any circumstances. Listings violating these statutory prohibitions will be terminated immediately and reported to law enforcement:

Firearms, Weapons & Explosives Arms Act, 1959

Firearms, ammunition, military surplus weaponry, fireworks, detonators, and restricted defense components.

Narcotics & Psychotropic Substances NDPS Act, 1985

Narcotic drugs, scheduled psychotropic formulations, and unverified chemical precursors.

Counterfeits & IP Infringing Goods Copyright Act, 1957 & Trade Marks Act, 1999

Replicas, fake brand labels, unauthorized OEM overruns, and pirated software or documentation.

Stolen Goods & Tampered Hardware Indian Penal Code / BNS

Stolen manufacturing machinery, items with scrubbed serial numbers, or encumbered collateral assets.

Wildlife Products & Rare Fauna Wildlife Protection Act, 1972

Live animals, ivory, animal skins, protected botanical species, and prohibited forest produces.

Human Body Parts & Organs Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994

Human tissues, organs, blood products, or biological medical samples.

Currency, Securities & Fraudulent Schemes RBI Act & Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes Act

Counterfeit currency, lottery tickets, pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM), or fake financial instruments.

Unlicensed Pharma & Hazardous Chemicals Drugs & Cosmetics Act & Petroleum Act

Prescription drugs or hazardous industrial solvents sold without valid state drug/chemical manufacturing licenses.

Packaged Food & Drink

Food and drink may be listed only as sealed, packaged stock in its original pack, with the label and expiry date intact. Every food listing must give:

the seller's 14-digit FSSAI licence or registration number;
the batch or lot number printed on the pack;
the manufacturing date and the expiry or best-before date (for a mixed lot, the earliest date).

A food listing is hidden from buyers automatically 7 days before its expiry date. Food cannot be listed once it is that close to expiry. The seller is responsible for storing, labelling and selling the stock in line with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and its regulations.

Not accepted at all: loose or fresh food, expired goods, medicines, alcohol, tobacco products, infant food, live plants and seeds, and bullion.

4.3 Right to Remove Listings & Suspend Accounts

Bikwao reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to remove any Listing, suspend or terminate any User account, forfeit pending subscriptions, and/or report the matter to law-enforcement authorities where it reasonably believes a Listing or User has violated these Terms, applicable Indian law, or third-party intellectual property rights.

How Long Listings Stay Live

On the free plan, a seller can have up to 5 listings live at a time. Each free listing stays live for 30 days from the day it is posted. The listing page and the seller's panel show how many days are left. When the time is up, the listing is hidden from buyers (it is not deleted) and the seller receives an email. If the stock is still available, the seller can renew it with one click.

A paid member's listings stay live for as long as the membership runs. When a membership ends, listings above the free limit are paused, not deleted, and come back when the membership is renewed.

Membership prices shown today apply to the first 100 paying members. After that, every plan costs double. Product enquiries go directly to the seller through the listing; Bikwao does not take part in the deal.

4.4 Pricing & Commercial Accuracy

Sellers are solely responsible for setting and honoring the price stated in their Listing. Bikwao does not set, control, or guarantee the price of any item and is not responsible for any pricing errors, whether caused by the seller or by a technical error. Sellers must clearly specify applicable GST rates and packaging charges during negotiations.

Seller identity documents

Everyone who lists on Bikwao, on bikwao.com or on any Bikwao portal (agri, business, property, rentals, resto and vehicle), on a free or a paid plan, uploads one personal or business document once, before the first listing goes live. The same document covers later listings made with the same mobile number.

Accepted documents: masked Aadhaar (only the last 4 digits visible; a full Aadhaar number is not accepted), PAN card, voter ID, driving licence, passport, Udyam certificate, shop or trade licence, GST certificate, FSSAI licence, company or LLP certificate, partnership deed, or another official document in the seller's or the business's name. A GST registration is never required to list.

Why we ask for it: Bikwao (operated by Mantra Tech Fusion) is an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The document is a record of who placed each listing. We use it to deal with complaints and fraud, to settle disputes, to respond to lawful requests from courts and government agencies, and to meet our duties under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We do not check documents through any government service, and having a document on file is not an endorsement of the seller or the listing.

How it is kept:

Files are encrypted (AES-256) and stored outside the public website. They are never shown to buyers or other users.
Photos are saved in WebP format. Of the document number we keep only the last 4 characters.
Only the Bikwao super administrator can open a document, and every opening is recorded with the date and time.
When you tick the consent box we record the date, time, IP address and the version of the consent text you accepted.

Replace, not delete: you can upload a newer document at any time, for example when it expires or your business details change. Earlier documents are kept, encrypted, as part of the record and are not deleted on request while they may be needed for the purposes above. We keep documents while your account or listings exist and after that for as long as the law requires or a legal claim may arise, and in any case for at least 180 days after the account is closed.

Sharing: we never sell documents or use them for marketing. We share them only when the law requires it, such as an order of a court or a lawful request from a government agency or the police.

Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: you can ask what we hold about you and correct it by uploading a newer document. For questions or complaints write to our Grievance Officer at info.bikwao@gmail.com.
