The Scaffolding Thread Rolling Machine is a heavy-duty hydraulic cold-forming machine built to roll continuous trapezoidal and ACME threads on solid steel bars and heavy-wall pipes used in scaffolding base jacks and U-head jacks. Unlike thread cutting which removes metal and weakens the core, thread rolling cold-forges the grain structure, increasing surface hardness, tensile yield strength, and wear life. Operating with two synchronized ground alloy tool-steel circular dies driven by a high-torque gearbox, the machine exerts up to 25 to 35 metric tons of hydraulic rolling force. It easily rolls standard 34 mm, 36 mm, 38 mm, and 48 mm jack screw threads at speeds up to 1.5 to 2.5 meters per minute in continuous through-feed mode, ensuring smooth nut engagement without thread seizure. Key Features Hydraulic Through-Feed & In-Feed Modes: Through-feed mode enables continuous rolling of long threaded tie rods and jack screws; in-feed handles headed bolts. Hardened Alloy Roll Spindles: Precision-ground Ni-Cr alloy steel spindles mounted in high-capacity spherical roller bearings to absorb massive radial loads. Hydraulic Pressure Adjustment: Proportional pressure regulator allows fine tuning of roll squeeze force to match bar diameter and steel tensile grade. High Production Throughput: Produces up to 120 to 180 finished base jack screws per hour with uniform pitch and mirror-smooth flank finish. Low Tool Wear & Zero Chip Waste: Cold-forming generates zero metal swarf and thread dies outlast cutting chasers by a factor of 10 to 1. Universal Thread Profiles: Standard die sets available for trapezoidal Tr36x6, Tr38x6, Tr48x8, ACME, and self-cleaning scaffolding round threads.
