The Pillar Type Power Press by National Cutting Tools is a heavy-duty mechanical stamping press engineered with a symmetrical four-pillar frame to eliminate the angular throat deflection common to C-frame presses under heavy stamping loads. When stamping thick steel plate, high-tensile components, or precision multi-stage progressive dies, frame flexure causes uneven die clearance, accelerated punch wear, and burred component edges; the four-column design holds the ram parallel to the bed under maximum shock loads. Built with four solid ground alloy steel pillars connecting the heavy bed to the top crown, the press features an alloy steel forged crankshaft, a heavy cast flywheel, and bronze-bushed ram slides. Available with mechanical rolling-key or pneumatic friction clutch systems, the press delivers consistent blanking, punching, and heavy forming capacity from 20 tons up to 250 tons. Centralized Grease / Oil Lubrication: Automated lubrication pump delivers metered lubricant to all crankshaft bearings and ram ways.
