The Multipurpose Bending Press (Horizontal Bending Press) by National Cutting Tools is an adaptable, high-force hydraulic machine tool designed for horizontal bending, punch-forming, tube bending, and straightening of thick steel bars, plates, and structural profiles. Traditional vertical press brakes struggle with thick flat bars and closed-loop bends due to frame obstruction; a horizontal bending press provides an open, flat work bed where heavy workpieces lie flat on the table during bending. Featuring a heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder mounted below or flush with the table, the machine drives a hardened bending punch against adjustable V-blocks or rotary bending pins. Exerting up to 40 to 100 metric tons of hydraulic thrust, it handles heavy flat bars up to 200x20 mm, solid square rods, and thick pipes with digital stroke readout for micron-level angular repeatability. Key Features Horizontal Flat Table Configuration: Open flat table allows bending closed shapes, rings, and long bars without vertical frame interference. High Hydraulic Bending Force (40–100 Tons): Massive ram force bends thick steel flats and heavy round bars cold without cracking. Digital Stroke Readout & Depth Stop: Precision linear scale and electronic depth control allow setting bend angles with ±0.1 mm repeatability. Interchangeable Quick-Change Tooling: Drop-in tool pins allow switching between flat-bar bending, pipe bending, and plate straightening in minutes. Heavy Solid Steel Table Plate: Thick flame-cut steel table normalized and surface-ground to withstand massive horizontal bending thrust. Foot Pedal Control with Inching Mode: Enables the operator to position and adjust workpieces accurately before full hydraulic tonnage stroke.
