The Hydraulic Brake Press (Hydraulic Press Brake) by National Cutting Tools is an industrial metal forming machine engineered for accurate, repeatable bending of sheet metal and heavy steel plates. In scaffolding component manufacturing, enclosure fabrication, and structural steel framing, producing straight bends with uniform angles along the full bed length requires rigid frame construction and synchronized hydraulic ram descent. Featuring a heavy-duty stress-relieved steel plate frame, the machine uses two synchronized hydraulic cylinders mounted on the side housings to drive the upper ram. A mechanical torsion bar or electro-hydraulic proportional valves maintain ram parallelism throughout the stroke. The multi-V bottom die and hardened upper punch form sharp, consistent bends on mild steel, galvanized sheet, and stainless steel plates across bed lengths from 1500 mm up to 4000 mm. Rigid Torsion Bar Synchronization: Heavy mechanical torsion shaft links cylinder movements to eliminate angular deflection on offset bends. Motorized Back Gauge with Digital Counter: Rapid positioning back gauge with fine manual handwheel adjustment for accurate bend flanges. Multi-V Die & Segmented Punch Tooling: Heat-treated alloy steel tooling accommodates multiple plate thicknesses and bend radii. Mechanical Depth Stop Nuts: Motorized internal cylinder nuts provide positive mechanical stops for micron-level bend angle repeatability. Foot Pedal Control with Inch Mode: Allows the operator to position sheet metal accurately before executing full bending tonnage.
