The Hydraulic Heavy Duty Band Saw Machine by National Cutting Tools is a semi-automatic production saw engineered for continuous, high-volume cutting of large-diameter solid bars, heavy-wall pipes, and structural steel beams. For steel stockholders, forging plants, and scaffolding manufacturers cutting hundreds of billets per shift, manual saw bow lifting and hand vise clamping waste significant productive time; this semi-automatic machine automates the full sawing sequence. Operating through a dedicated hydraulic power pack, the machine executes an automated cycle: hydraulic vise clamping, blade start, regulated hydraulic cutting downfeed, automatic blade shut-off at bottom, and rapid hydraulic bow lift back to the start height. The heavy torsion-resistant saw bow and large cast iron blade wheels ensure rigid blade tension, preventing blade runout on wide cutting widths up to 300 mm to 500 mm. Key Features Semi-Automatic Hydraulic Cycle: Single push-button triggers vise clamp, saw start, controlled cut, auto shut-off, and hydraulic bow return. Hydraulic Vise Clamping: Heavy hydraulic cylinder exerts high holding pressure, locking heavy round bars and bundle packs securely. Heavy Torsion-Resistant Saw Frame: Box-structured saw bow eliminates twisting under high blade tension (up to 20,000 PSI). Infinitely Variable Blade Speed (VFD): Inverter drive allows dial-in speed adjustment to match alloy steel, stainless, or mild steel grades. Tungsten Carbide Blade Guides & Roller Bearings: Hold the bi-metal blade dead perpendicular to the bed for sub-millimeter cut squareness. Integrated Chip Removal Brush: Motor-driven wire brush sweeps swarf out of blade teeth, preventing tooth strip and extending blade life.
