The Fixed Rake Angle Hydraulic Shearing Machine by National Cutting Tools is a heavy-duty guillotine shearing machine engineered for rapid, distortion-free cutting of sheet metal and steel plates. In sheet metal fabrication, pre-engineered building manufacturing, and panel production, cutting speed and sheet squareness are critical; our fixed rake angle shears utilize an optimized blade angle that delivers high cutting speed with minimal sheet camber and bow on standard plate gauges. Constructed on a heavy, stress-relieved steel plate frame, the machine features twin hydraulic drive cylinders, a rigid ram guided on low-friction flat slideways, and an array of hydraulic hold-down cylinders. The hold-downs clamp the plate firmly before the top blade engages, preventing sheet slippage and delivering clean, square sheared edges across cutting lengths from 1500 mm up to 4000 mm. High-Pressure Hydraulic Hold-Downs: Independent hydraulic cylinders clamp the sheet tightly along the cutting line before blade touch. Rapid Blade Gap Adjustment: Single-point manual or motorized lever allows quick calibration of blade clearance to match plate thickness. Motorized Back Gauge with Digital Readout: High-precision back gauge ensures fast, repeatable setting of cut sheet widths within ±0.1 mm. Heavy Monobloc Steel Frame: Interlocked and welded steel plate construction stress-relieved to withstand peak shearing loads.
