The One Feed Automatic Milling Machine by National Cutting Tools is an economical production milling machine designed for batch milling, slotting, and facing operations in manufacturing workshops. In production lines where a repetitive cutting stroke is performed on hundreds of identical parts, manual table cranking causes uneven feed rates and operator fatigue; this machine automates the primary longitudinal feed stroke with automatic tool disengagement and rapid table return. Built with a heavy cast-iron column and knee, the machine features an all-geared or multi-step spindle drive and an electro-mechanical or pneumatic table feed mechanism. Once the workpiece is clamped in the fixture, the operator presses the cycle start: the table feeds through the cut at a preset cutting speed, trips a limit switch at the stroke end, and returns rapidly to the loading position for the next cycle.
