The Rod Threading Machine is engineered for continuous, high-precision external thread cutting on solid steel rods, suspension rods, and threaded studs across general manufacturing and fabrication industries. Cutting long threaded sections on standard lathes is inefficient and prone to diameter taper; this specialized rod threader cuts full-form threads rapidly while maintaining uniform pitch and root depth along the entire workpiece. Constructed on a heavy-duty cast iron bed, the machine features a multi-speed gear transmission, an adjustable self-opening die head, and a hollow spindle for continuous bar feeding. High-speed steel tangential chasers cut clean, burr-free threads on mild steel, brass, stainless steel, and alloy steel rods, ensuring tight fit and smooth nut engagement for critical structural and mechanical assemblies. Key Features Continuous Through-Feed Spindle: Hollow spindle design allows full-length rods to be threaded continuously or at multiple intervals without restriction. Precision Lead Screw Saddle Drive: Maintains pitch linearity over long thread engagements, preventing thread binding in mating components. Four-Chaser Tangential Die Head: Provides balanced cutting forces for round, chatter-free threads with high surface finish. Self-Centering Quick-Clamp Vise: Heavy mechanical screw or pneumatic vise locks rods firmly without surface bruising.
