Constructed on a heavy monobloc bed, the machine incorporates a multi-speed headstock with hardened gears, a hollow spindle for through-bar passage, and a heavy-duty carriage guided on hand-scraped prismatic ways. The four-chaser tangential die head delivers clean, tear-free threads on mild steel, medium carbon EN-8, and alloy steels, making it a reliable asset for structural steel and fastener plants. Key Features Through-Spindle Bar Clearance: Hollow headstock spindle allows long continuous bars to pass through the machine for end threading without restriction. Precision Lead Screw Synchronisation: Lead screw ensures exact pitch matching for specialized pitch standards, eliminating lead error over long thread lengths. Tangential Chaser Tooling: High-speed steel chasers provide clean cutting action and can be resharpened repeatedly along their full usable length. Heavy V-Jaw Bar Clamping: Mechanical or pneumatic clamping vise holds solid bars concentric to the cutting axis under high cutting torque. Automatic Length Trip Bar: Disengages the die head automatically at the desired thread length, preventing operator overrun errors.
