The Automatic Pipe Threading Machine is built for continuous, high-output external threading of carbon steel, GI, and black steel pipes. In pipeline manufacturing, plumbing fabrication, and fire sprinkler installations, pipe threads must maintain exact taper (1:16 for NPT/BSPT) and clean crests to ensure leak-free seal engagement without thread sealant blowout under high pressure. Powered by a heavy 15 HP industrial motor running through a three-speed gearbox (30, 60, 90 RPM), this machine delivers high torque to cut threads on pipes up to 2.1/2" (65 mm nominal bore) in a single rapid pass. The automatic carriage advance and self-tripping die head synchronize with the spindle rotation, completing standard tapered pipe threads in 20 to 30 seconds per pipe end. Rapid Pneumatic or Hydraulic Vise: Locks pipe rigidly with hardened serrated jaw inserts to prevent rotation under heavy cutting torque. Full Flow Cutting Fluid System: Delivers high-volume coolant flow to wash away heavy swarf and keep chaser cutting temperatures stable.
